2. Council Agenda Books mailed on 28 February

The IUGG Statutes and By-laws require that the Council Agenda and supporting materials be sent to the Adhering Bodies and their Delegates four months in advance. This was done as required, and in addition, a pdf file of the Council Agenda Book was posted on the IUGG Website under General Assemblies, 2007. While the Council meetings themselves are open only to Adhering Body Delegates, Listeners designated by Adhering Bodies in Associate Status, the IUGG Executive Committee and Finance Committee, and guests invited by the President, the record of IUGG business is open to all. A report of the decisions of the Council, including the officers elected for the 2007-2011 term, will be presented at the General Assembly Closing Ceremony on 13 July at 4 pm.
