IUGG XXI General Assembly

"Geophysics and the Environment" was the theme for the XXI General Assembly of IUGG - Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of IUGG and looking forward to the challenges for the next 25 years. Contributed papers cover all areas of geophysics - ocean sciences; meteorology and atmospheric sciences; hydrological sciences; geodesy; seismology; volcanology; physics and chemistry of the Earth's interior; geomagnetism; aeronomy. The host for the Assembly was the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, and David S. Chapman served as the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee.
